UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School

Dan is from Philadelphia, PA. He earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from Wake Forest University and minored in Entrepreneurship and Theatre. Before starting his MBA at UNC Kenan-Flagler, Dan worked in the digital advertising industry in a variety of client-facing roles at both a medium-sized media company and a small tech start-up in Raleigh, NC. At UNC, Dan is focusing on concentrations in Marketing and Business Analytics & Management to blend his creative solid skill set with his high-level analytical ability to help companies achieve data-driven results with innovative solutions.

Dan completed his summer internship at The Hershey Company as a Brand Manager in the Marketing Department. During his time in the MBA program, Dan has participated in the STAR Program, worked as a 1Y liaison with the MBA Student Association, competed in various case competitions, and currently leads the weekly Marketing Club Career Labs.

Fun Fact: Dan work outside of his career as a part-time professional stage actor and stand-up comic. Dan helped organize the inaugural Carolina Casual Comedy Show at Kenan-Flagler in the Spring of 2023.

Nithish is from Chennai, India. He earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Trichy, India.Before starting his MBA at UNC Kenan-Flagler, Nithish worked in the advanced analytics consulting industry as a Senior Big Data Engineer for retail, media, and technology firms, coming up with their enterprise data strategy and building organization-wide data platforms and products. At UNC, Nithish is focusing on multiple concentrations to supplement his deep expertise in analytics and technology strategy with innovation management, operations, and organization behavior to build and scale enterprise technology teams. Nithish completed his summer internship at Amazon as a Senior Technical Product Manager in one of their retail FinTech teams.

During his time in the MBA program, Nithish has won in the Advanced Auto Parts Datathon, worked as a 1Y liaison with the Analytics and Pride @ KFBS clubs, competed in various case competitions, and currently leads International Recruiting and Mentorship Programs for the Business Technology Club. Nithish is also the President of the MBA Ambassadors Program.

Fun Fact: Nithish was an animal rescuer and rehabilitator in his hometown. He has rescued over 200 stray animals and found them permanent homes.
