Do you offer financial aid for Full-Time MBA candidates?
A: Financial aid includes fellowships, private scholarships, and all types of student loans. All applicants are considered for merit-based fellowships, which are the only type of “gift” aid offered by the University. Student loan options are available for U.S. citizens and permanent residents* and international students*

How do I know if I received a fellowship?
A: Candidates are notified at the time of admission if selected for a fellowship award. Fellowships are awarded for the duration of the 2-year program (as long as fellowship criteria is met) and no new fellowship awards are given to students in the second year of the program.
Am I eligible to use military benefits?
A: UNC-Chapel Hill, including UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, is approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs as a training facility for students receiving military education benefits. We are proud participants in the Yellow Ribbon Program for students who don’t qualify for in-state tuition. We support the Post 9/11 GI Bill. And, we comply with the Veterans Choice Act.
To confirm your eligibility for Yellow Ribbon benefits, apply for financial support through the VA to secure a Certificate of Eligibility. Once you’re admitted to UNC Kenan-Flagler, you’ll submit your Certificate of Eligibility and Yellow Ribbon Application to our MBA Veterans Affairs Specialist.

How much is the tuition for the Full-Time MBA program?
A: UNC-Chapel Hill and Kenan-Flagler Business School is a public institution and has two tuition rates based on your North Carolina residency status. For more information about tuition rates, please visit our website.
How do I qualify for North Carolina in-state tuition?
A: If you believe that you qualify as a North Carolina resident under state law, you’ll need to submit a residency application with the North Carolina Residency Determination Services (RDS), a government agency. All residency decisions, and appeals, are determined by RDS.
